We have stayed with Marie on a number of occasions. We love the apartment which is fully equipped with a really comfortable bed , high quality bedding and towels and great shower. The kitchen and lounge has everything you will need for a really comfortable stay whilst retaining all the original features of its rich heritage. Marie is a wonderful host , very kind welcoming and attentive to all your needs .It’s a top class place to stay whilst visiting the beautiful county of Kerry . We look forward to returning next year. Located in a stunning part of the world even when weather is dull. But when the sun is out, Kerry is astounding. The guest house is ideally situated close to an airport and road quality in Kerry is excellent for driving to all the beauty spots. Marie is a very welcoming and courteous host. As she is also a local tour guide, she offered excellent advice and suggestions on where and how to get to scenic landmarks; some of which were not so obvious. The history and atmosphere of Herlihy’s bar is tangible even though it’s been converted to an excellent holiday apartment. It’s a perfect base for the wonderful experience of exploring Kerry.

And it’s all because of you! You bring so much joy and happiness to people’s life by allowing them to experience the Irish culture through history. I feel so privileged to have been able to stay in your beautiful pub. When I walked in, I felt like I stepped back in time. Every special glass, plate, picture and article on the walls was such a tribute to your family. It’s amazing how a place you made so poignant brought out my memories of my Great Grandma and Grandma. Such Happy Time! And I must thank you for going so far out of your way, to help me celebrate my niece’s birthday. I just wish she would have been able to stay and experience this incredible adventure! Marie, you are a very kind and compassionate woman and I’m so glad we got to meet.
